What is EUNIC?
The European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) is a network of international cultural relations institutes from the member states of the European Union. Founded in 2006, it has 30 institutional members and is active in over 150 countries through 2,000 branches, working with local and European partners on activity in the arts, languages, youth, education, science, intercultural dialogue and development. EUNIC has a global reputation as Europe’s leading cultural relations organisation.
Our purpose
In Sub-Saharan Africa EUNIC works in partnership with local organisations under the theme of culture and development, particularly in the fields of multilingualism, arts education, and arts and development.
