The British Council is seeking a local consultant or organisation to support in design and delivery of a series of focus groups, leading to a TVET policy dialogue for Mozambique, to inform a TVET project design on behalf of the British Council for 2023/24. 

The focus groups, policy dialogue and project design will be informed by a British Council deep dive study into currently funded activities in TVET and Youth Employment in Mozambique. The focus groups are designed to provide and enhance insight and understanding of the TVET system and how it operates. Additionally, the programme will provide an opportunity to effectively engage the key players in a constructive dialogue that can inform the project design for British Council, Mozambique activities in 2023/24.  

The consultant or organisation should have demonstrable experience in conducting research, convening and managing focus groups and external engagement events/ conference events/ events with high level stakeholders, quantitative and qualitative analysis and project design as well as excellent knowledge of the TVET sector in Mozambique.  

The local consultant will work collaboratively with a UK consultant both in country and remotely from the UK. The expected start date is 30 January 2023, and the project end date is 10 March 2023.  

The deadline for submission of proposals by potential suppliers is Monday 23 January 2023, 5pm.
